Meet Dr. Kirk Lee

For 30 years he has been serving the people of Albion and surrounding areas of Battle Creek, Olivet, Marshall, Homer, Springport, Parma, Jackson and Eaton Rapids.  He believes in giving back to his community by serving on several community committees including school board and District 7 County Commissioner.  One of his passions is working with youth and is evidenced by his 18 years as part of the Albion High School football coaching staff and continues to day providing services for student-athletes with sports related injuries of Albion and the surrounding area.

His service to athletes involves more than just high school and college athletes.  A large part of Dr. Lee's practice is devoted to treating runners who consult with him on many common running injuries and how to improve form.  For 20 plus years Dr. Lee has been using video analysis to help recognize the causative factors that can lead to injuries due to biomechanical flaws with in the runners gait cycle.  

Do to his continued interest in working with runners he developed albionrundoctor.com which is a running and performance lab and website.  He is proud to be the only Michigan location that uses the OPTOGAIT system of analysis which through his years of experience he feels is the best system available world-wide to do both video analysis and provide printed data of each phase of the human gait cycle.  Making our running and performance lab one of the most state-of-the-art facilities in Michigan.

Currently, Dr. Lee serves on the post graduate faculty of several Chiropractic Colleges and Foot Levelers Inc. the world's largest custom made orthotic company.  He has authored numerous articles on patient management, ethics, sports injuries with special interest on running injuries and traumatic brain injuries (concussion)  Dr. Lee is available to lecture to your running and athletic clubs.  He can be reached at 517 749 6005 or kaleedc@sbcglobal.net.
